Introducing my favorite Piano VSTs.

Hello piano lovers. Today's piano VST review is not about the single product but a collection of my most used piano VSTs. Some people have asked me to review some of the pianos VSTs that I use most when recording albums and uploading Youtube videos.

I also reviewed all the piano VSTs individually on my web site which I'm going to share briefly. Below is the list that I use most.

1. Native Instruments The Grandeur ☞ Check out my review

Because of this wonderful VST, I started my journey as a piano VST user. All songs from my 1st album "Dear my daughter" were recorded with The Grandeur. It is the standard when I compare the piano VSTs. About the sound? Needless to say. Rich, clear and warm at the same time, especially its hammer and key noise sound so real that you may not believe this is only 99 USD instrument.


2. Spectrasonics Keyscape Creative ☞ Check out my review

-Price & Size : 399 USD, 79 GB
-Sampler : Standalone or Omnisphere 2
-Sampled piano : Yamaha C7 LA Custom
-Sound
I sometimes ask my musician friends what their favorite piano VST is, Keyscape is always mentioned most. Its super warm and rich Yamaha C7 sound may fit any kind of genres you play. These days many pop musicians use this VST as their first piano choice.


3. Garritan Abbey Road Studios CFX Concert Grand Full ☞ Check out my review

-Price & Size : 199 USD, 120 GB
-Sampler : Standalone or Sforzando
-Sampled piano : Yamaha CFX
-Sound
Most of the song from my released albums are recorded with this VST. Good dynamics, clear tone and amazing ambient sound from Abbey Road studios perfectly meet the needs that I want for my music and playing. This one also has a light version, but I highly recommend the full one as the extra ambient mic gives warmer tone.


4. Modarrt Pianoteq 6 ☞ Check out my review

-Price & Size : 280 USD, 50 MB
-Sampler : Standalone
-Sampled piano : Steinway Model D
-Sound
It is the only modeled VST from my most used piano VST libraries. It has the best response in the market and its modeling technology develops every day that they release many newer versions fixing errors and revoicing the tones.

피아노 가상악기에 빠져들게 한 장본인이 바로 이 악기입니다. 이 악기 이후로 가상악기에 대한 탐구가 진지하게 시작된 것 같아요. 제 1집 "Dear my daughter"의 전곡 모두가 이 악기로 녹음을 한 만큼 아직까지도 애착을 가지고 있는 악기이기도 합니다.정말 기본기에 충실한 악기이기도 해서 음장감, 바디감 및 키노이즈가 정말 좋은 악기이기도 합니다.

최근 가장 핫한 피아노 가상악기죠? 그만큼 사용자도 많아지고 좋아하는 분들도 많은 악기입니다. 묵직함의 대마왕이라고 할만큼 정말 깊은 중저음 톤과 꽉찬 소리를 마구 내주는 악기이기도 합니다.

최근에는 이 악기를 제일 많이 사용하는 것 같습니다. 키스케이프와 같은 묵직함을 원할 때도 있지만 피아노 특유의 깔끔한 톤과 명료함을 원할 때는 항상 이 피아노로 연주를 합니다. 더불어 다이나믹도 좋아 제가 원하는 연주에 가장 잘 맞는 악기이기도 합니다.

제가 사용하는 유일한 모델링 악기이기도 합니다. 반응성은 타의 추종을 불허합니다. 모델링 악기답게 톤 메이킹이 무한대로 가능하기도 해서 아직도 톤 공부를 하고 있는 악기이기도 합니다. 버전이 계속 나오면서 리보이싱도 되고 톤도 점점 더 유저들이 원하는 방향으로 발전하고 있는 악기이기도 합니다. 앞으로 모델링 악기가 샘플링 악기를 밀어낼지 관심을 많이 가지고 있는 악기이기도 합니다.
